The Rainy Season for 2023 has officially kicked off. By chance, Typhoon Season has also started. With the world facing many climate related troubles as severe drought in some areas, heavy rains and flooding in others, I think we are starting to feel the effects of global climate changes.
Be sure to keep yourself prepared with bottled water, flashlights, batteries and emergency rations in the event of power loss or flooding.
Of course, living in Japan we always face the uncertainty of the next big earthquake, which only adds to the possibility of disasters ahead, but keeping a few emergency items prepared can surely help ease ones state of mind.
2023年の梅雨が正式にスタートしました。あろうことか、台風シーズンも始まっています。ある地域では深刻な干ばつ、ある地域では豪雨や洪水など、気候に関するトラブルが多く、世界的な気候変動の影響を感じ始めているのではないでしょうか？
停電や洪水に備え、ペットボトルの水、懐中電灯、電池、非常食などの準備を怠らないようにしましょう。
もちろん、日本に住んでいる以上、次の大地震の可能性もありますし、災害の可能性もありますが、非常用持ち出し品を準備しておくと、安心です。
